“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?’” — Martin Luther King, Jr.

Head Coach Muecke’s “Men of Character” initiative is teaching our sons to understand and embrace the value of service. In the same spirit of servant leadership, the Diamond Club (baseball boosters) exists solely to support the baseball program. A non-profit organization, the club is led by an elected Executive Board and meets its goals only with the generous assistance of our players’ parents and families.  Please consider joining the club and volunteering in some capacity.  Sign-up sheets for committees can be found on the Volunteer page under the Diamond Club tab.  For more information, come to the first meeting of the year, or email us if you’re interested in participating. We look forward to meeting you!

It’s that time of year. Time to fill out your Athletic Packet and get your annual sports physical.  All players have to submit completed documentation before they can get cleared (the “Go Pass”) to try out. Turn them in to Coach Rueben in the Athletic Office in the admin building.

Upgrades are taking place to prepare the fields.  At the Freshman field, a smooth, new slab for the batting cages has been laid. Thanks to Sabercat Clouse and Randall families and InterMountain West Civil Constructors for laying the foundation for a great season.

Please join us for the first Diamond Club Meeting of the 2017-2018 season.  Tuesday, September 5th at 6.30 in the Community Room on campus.  All parents are welcome to attend.

The Diamond Club is comprised of parents/guardians/adult family members from all teams – Freshman, JV, and Varsity – and we would love to have you join our ranks!  We have a full schedule ahead – from fundraising, team building and family/community events to providing financial and administrative support to the Coaches and the program throughout the year.

We will be outlining our plans for the year and would appreciate your input – and assistance – in defining our goals and how we’ll achieve them.  From committee leadership to general participation, the CATS need you on board!

Join the Sabercat Baseball Family at the Pre-Season Kickoff Meeting on Tuesday, August 22nd at 6.30pm in the Community Room on campus.  Coaches will discuss plans for training and conditioning, games/league play, field updates, athlete requirements and expectations – including mandatory Player Packets.  NOW is the time to get your annual physical and all paperwork turned in to remain eligible for try-outs.

UNIFORM MEASUREMENTS will be taken at this meeting – be prepared with your expected sizes for the Spring season.
